Dambulla cave temple also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla is a World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka.
Most famous attraction is a beautifully preserved complex of Cave temples, which contain paintings and ancient Buddha statues, some carved from the solid rock. Dambulla is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. These paintings and statues are related to Gautama Buddha and his life. There are a total of 153 Buddha statues, three statues of Sri Lankan kings and four statues of gods and goddesses. The latter include Vishnu and the Ganesha. The murals cover an area of 2,100 square meters.

Village tour This program is designed for you to experience the real traditional and Sri Lankan rural village life style, where you will travel in a Bullock cart to a rural village through lush green paddy fields where you will be welcomed with herbal tea and " juggery" along with lunch made to authentic Sri Lankan style.

Sigiriya Lion rock fortress - we continue our journey to visit Sigiriya Lion rock fortress built as a royal citadel on top of a 200m high rock mass. Sigiriya is an impressive fortress with some fantastic views, glorious water gardens and 5th-century frescoes.

Polonnaruwa was established as the capital after Anuradhapura had been invaded in the late 10th century. Under King Parakramabu, who ruled in the late 11th century, Polonnaruwa became a magnificent walled city. He built the vast reservoir, ParakramaSamudra (the Sea of Parakrama) still in use today, and ordered the construction of monasteries, temples, palaces, bathing pools and Buddhist statues, all set in a forested park surrounded by moats.

Minariya national park which joins up with Kaudulla and Wasgomuwa parks, It is the largest known meeting place of Asian Elephants in the world.

The Temple of Tooth Relic (holiest place among Buddhist) the temple is the most significant Buddhist holy place in Sri Lanka where it is believed to give protection to the holy tooth relic of Lord Buddha. The world famous procession known as the Kandy Perahara starts from this temple.
Kandy is a pleasant city surrounded by lush green countryside - its home to a picturesque lake, old shops, a bustling market and some great restaurants.
Time approx 4 hrs and drive back to Negombo.
